Drug Uses Aldactone is a potassium sparing diuretic, also called a water pill that flushes excess salt and water from the body and controls high blood pressure. Usage Aldactone comes in a tablet form that must be taken daily. Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking the drug until you get your doctors approval. Missed Dose If you miss a dose of Aldactone, then you may take it as soon as you remember it.
